“I never really cared about what happened after the plane took off, be it people or sceneries. Until that day, when I saw something rather … strange about flight QH1414. As I was boarding the plane and putting my luggage in place, I caught a glimpse of two men outside the window, next to the van in the heavy pouring rain. What were they even doing? – I curiously thought to myself. The thought slipped my mind, nevertheless.
But then coincidentally during my second Bamboo Airways flight from Tan Son Nhat to Noi Bai, I came across the same exact scene: two men outside the window, this time under the scorching sun! Curiosity got the better of me as I tried to find out what they were up to. Oh my heavens, it turned out they were waving goodbye to the passengers and the plane. Bamboo Airways, you hit me right in the feels this time!”
The men are ground staff, responsible for not just taking passengers to the plane and watching them board but also waiting for takeoff and waving passengers goodbye. In sunshine or rain, their bright smiles and eager handwaves are always there until the aircraft has soared into the sky and disappeared from sight.
P.S: We would like to thank our beloved passenger for sending Bamboo Airways these precious feelings and gorgeous pictures!
